audrée cameron
audrée cameron is a native of Illinois, having lived most of her life on the North Shore of Chicago. There she pursued an art career at an early age and concentrated her study under several mid-west artists Tom Lynch and Brooke Allison.
After relocation to Palm Desert, California and with a strong desire to continue her previous career in the arts, audrée returned to serious study to further advance her skills, at the College of the Desert. She had the opportunity to study under the quality guidance of the renowned William Kohl, Susan Watson Smith-Evans, and Derek Hultgren. In 1992, she was awarded "Best of Show" from the Artists' Council of Palm Springs Desert Museum at their annual show featuring artists from throughout California.
After a move to Puerto Rico audrée opened a studio/gallery in Old San Juan. She also had her work represented at the Labrador Gallery in San Juan.
Yet another move, to Naples, Florida, created a studio/gallery, and in 2002, a "featured artist" in the Naples Art Museum's Artist Tour.
audrée is now a full time resident of Chicago, where her studio/gallery is located.
audrée concentrates on representational art and works in oils and acrylics with an emphasis on organic subject matter.
Her work is included in many private collections throughout the country.
